Events 2008

18/19 November 2008 - Paderborn University Library on site: eBibliothek - Your way through the information jungle!

In the face of an ever-increasing flood of information, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain an overview. It is therefore becoming increasingly important for successful study and professional life to know the relevant information resources and to use them sensibly.

We make many of these resources available to you free of charge within the eLibrary. Here you will find specialised databases for your literature research and references to electronic journals and eBooks for direct link to the full texts. In addition, the eSeminar apparatuses offer uncomplicated access to the media provided by your lecturers.

Our offering in this field is constantly evolving. In order to inform you about current developments in the eLibrary, the University Library will be presenting its extensive electronic services in the foyer of the University for the seventh time under the motto "eLibrary - your way through the information jungle!".

On 18 and 19 November 2008, at an information stand in front of Lecture Hall C1, we will show you which sources of information you can find in our eLibrary and how you can get there quickly and easily. Subject-related compilations will provide a first compact introduction to the wide range of services offered by the eLibrary. You will also find information on the Citavi campus licence, which provides uncomplicated, free access to the Citavi Pro reference management programme for all students and staff at Paderborn University.

If you have any questions, our expert staff will be happy to help.
