Card collection
The map collection of Paderborn University Library comprises around 3,200 maps (including multiple copies).
Use
The map collection can be used as a reference collection under supervision in the Information Centre or in the local lending department. Lending or making available through interlibrary loan is generally excluded.
Maps taken out must be entered in the list displayed 'on site' (room BI 0.101) and countersigned by a member of the University Library staff when they are returned.
An exception applies to lecturers in that they are authorised to borrow cards during regular office hours to hold or prepare classes against deposit of their library card (including the card stand, if applicable).
