Events 2020

05/06 March 2020 - "Long Night of Writing" in the University Library

On Thursday, 5 March from 7 p.m. to Friday, 6 March 2020 at 7 a.m., the Competence Centre for Writing and the University Library, together with other institutions of the university, are once again organising the 'Long Night of Writing (LaNa)'.

The library will be open all night. Students from all faculties are invited to start or simply continue their term papers, theses or other texts in this special and productive atmosphere of the 'night'. Individual advice on writing, literature searches and IT will be offered at the library's information centre.

This year's LaNa is taking place under the motto "Schreib(t)räume".

In many workshops and short lectures, special impulses for stress-free writing will be given. The 'moving breaks' and relaxed 'yoga sessions' organised by the university sports team will provide pleasant interruptions during the night. Catering will be provided.

Registration is via the library's booking system for training courses.

Information on the programme can be found on the pages of the Competence Centre for Writing.

Other partners of the 'Long Night' are: Schreibtreff für internationale Studierende, Orthografie@upb, Hochschulsport, IMT:doIT, Zentrale Studienberatung and ProLernen.
