The location code provides information about the lending conditions:

  • Normal lending (white label, location 11, 31, 41, 51, 91, 93, 95, 97),
  • Normal lending (blue label, location 03, 07),
  • Normal lending (yellow label, location 10, 30, 40, 50),
  • Short-term loans (blue label, stacks location 02),
  • Short loan (yellow label, stacks location 90, 92, 94, 96),
  • not available for loan (red label, location 04, 06, 08, 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 86, 98).

The media in the specialised libraries where only short-term loans were previously possible (locations 10, 30, 40 and 50) are gradually being converted to normal loans. The decisive factor for borrowing is not the labels, but the data stored in the catalogue.
